Why crypto only
The most honest way to give.
We don't accept IBAN transfers, credit cards, or VISA. That's a deliberate choice, and here's the reasoning in full.
Every gift is public and verifiable
Each donation is a transaction recorded on a public blockchain. You — and anyone else — can look it up, follow it, and confirm it arrived. No charity can quietly make that disappear.
More of your gift reaches people
Card and bank processing skims roughly 2–5% off every donation, plus fixed fees that punish small gifts. Crypto network fees are usually a fraction of that, so more of what you give becomes actual aid.
Borderless help for a borderless mission
Crisis doesn't respect borders, and neither should giving. Anyone, anywhere, can donate in minutes — without currency conversion or a local bank relationship.
Funds arrive in minutes, not days
International bank transfers can take days to clear. On-chain, value settles in minutes — so emergency aid can move at the speed of the emergency.
No bank details exposed
You never hand us card numbers or account details, and we never store them. Less sensitive data collected means less that can ever be leaked or misused.
Open to the unbanked
Around a billion people have no bank account but can hold a crypto wallet. Crypto lets us both receive from and, increasingly, deliver to people the old system left out.
"But isn't crypto risky or shady?"
Fair question. We use NOWPayments, a regulated payment processor, and convert volatile assets promptly to fund stable, planned programs. The blockchain's openness is exactly why it suits charity: it's the same technology that lets you audit us. Volatility is a treasury problem we manage; transparency is a donor right we protect.
Frequently asked questions
Common questions about donating cryptocurrency to TraceGood.
Why does TraceGood accept only cryptocurrency?
Because it's the most transparent way to give. Every crypto donation is recorded on a public blockchain, so you can verify it arrived — something a bank transfer or card payment can't show you. Crypto also carries lower fees and works across borders in minutes.
Is donating cryptocurrency to charity safe?
Yes. Payments are processed through NOWPayments, a regulated crypto payment provider. You send funds from your own wallet to a secure checkout — we never see or store your wallet keys, card numbers, or bank details.
Which cryptocurrencies can I donate?
You can give in Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), USDT, USD Coin (USDC), Litecoin (LTC), Monero (XMR), Dogecoin (DOGE), and Solana (SOL). You choose your coin at checkout.
How do I know my donation actually reached people?
Every gift is an on-chain transaction with a public ID you can look up yourself. We publish how funds are allocated to programs, so you can trace your donation from your wallet to the field.
Can I donate anonymously?
Yes. Your name and email are optional — leave them blank to give anonymously. Crypto donations never require you to share bank or card details.
What fees are taken from my donation?
Only the crypto network fee plus the payment processor's small fee — typically far less than the 2–5% that cards and banks take, so more of your gift becomes real aid.
Are my crypto donations tax-deductible?
It depends on your country and on our charitable registration, which we're finalizing. We provide a receipt for every gift; please check your local rules, and we'll update this guidance as our registration completes.
